Build a local team in Russia
Roles, onboarding, equipment and one counterpart for head office — how foreign companies set up their first team in Russia through EOR.
One plan
Employment runs through EOR when you have no company in Russia. Onboarding, documents, the first pay run and equipment follow the person you have chosen, and head office gets one counterpart for the whole plan.
Roles companies employ through EOR
- Technology: developers, QA and data engineers working with a team abroad
- Sales and account management: people covering Russia and neighbouring markets
- Customer support: Russian-speaking support for your product
- Operations: a country lead or coordinator before an entity exists
Onboarding checklist
- The offer: gross or net salary, start date and job title
- Documents: passport, SNILS and INN, and for a foreign national the migration documents
- The employment contract in Russian, with an English version if you need one
- Tax and insurance registration before the first pay run
- Equipment, accounts and information-security rules ready on day one
- A first-week plan from the manager at head office
Remote work
Many EOR employees in Russia work remotely. Remote work is written into the contract under Chapter 49.1 of the Labor Code, including how work is handed over and how equipment is provided or compensated.
One counterpart for head office
Questions about pay, leave, documents and contract changes go to one contact at Gini Talent. Your manager keeps the day-to-day work; we keep the employment compliant.
If candidates are not ready
Say so on the proposal form; Gini Talent can help with recruitment as a separate service.
