How Russia EOR works

Who employs the person, what the proposal contains, how the contract, registration, pay and reporting run, and how offboarding and a later move to your own company work.

The parties

Your company directs the work. The person is employed in Russia by Gini Talent’s local partner employer under the Labor Code. Gini Talent manages the engagement and is your contractual counterpart under an international service contract. Responsibilities are written down before anyone starts.

Before the proposal

We look at the company, the activity and the payment route. An employment that cannot be paid or documented properly helps no one, so not every case is accepted, and we say so early. We reply to every request within 3 business days.

The proposal

It lists gross salary, insurance contributions and the EOR fee (from USD 249 per employee a month) as separate lines, with the employee’s net pay. It states the invoice currency, the scope and the documents we need. It does not promise a permit decision or a start date before the checks.

Contract and registration

The employment contract is prepared in Russian, often with an English version, with probation, working time, leave and remote work written in. After signing, the employee is registered for tax and insurance; for a foreign national the migration steps run in parallel.

Pay and reporting

Pay is made in roubles at least twice a month on the contract dates. NDFL is withheld and contributions are paid on the statutory dates. Head office receives a cost report and an invoice with the same lines.

Offboarding

When the employment ends, the notice for the ground is followed, the termination is documented and the final settlement — pay to the last day, unused leave and any severance — is paid on the last working day.

Moving to your own company

When you open an ООО, employees can move to it with new contracts. We plan the date so pay continues without a gap.
